At Review Scout, we take the job of protecting your private information seriously. This page is about how we collect data on ReviewScout.org and how we use it. We are a collective of researchers focused on providing ratings and reviews on diverse product categories. By using this website, you consent to the data practices described on this page.

Collection of your Personal Information

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you send it to us via an email or form submission on our website. If you sign up for our newsletter or submit a product review, then you are also providing information about yourself. We will use this information to communicate with you.

Use of your Personal Information

If you signed up for a newsletter, we would use your name and email address information to send you periodical email updates with news and reviews. You can opt-out of these emails at any time from the appropriate link in the email.

If you submitted an email to us or filled out an advertising inquiry through our web form, we will use that information in correspondence with you.

When submitting a product review, we are collecting information that you are voluntarily providing to us. Your review information will be compiled with others in our statistical analysis process resulting in overall ratings for select products. We may also gather additional information about you in the future.

This data usually will include your IP address, type of browser used, domain names, times of visits, and any site referral information.
