Review Scout is a collective of researchers located across the United States focused on providing ratings and reviews on diverse product categories. We utilize a thorough review process to assess a given product’s value to consumers. This process is known as the Review Scout Ranking System.
REVIEW SCOUT RANKING SYSTEM
STEP 1: MARKET ASSESSMENT
TRENDS – At Review Scout, we begin our analysis process by looking at current trends in the consumer marketplace by monitoring both social media as well as online and offline retail sales to determine which product categories are worthy of an in-depth review.
RESEARCH – We pay special attention to the various brands marketed, product functions, unique components, or ingredients.
ANALYTICS – Once a category is determined, we begin by analyzing upwards of 100 different products.
SUPPORT – We also look at the return policy and guarantee offered by the manufacturer as listed on their website.
QUALITY – To determine a product’s predicted effectiveness, we evaluate the ingredients listed by the manufacturer, related clinical trials and studies, quality, and safety.
STATISTICS – We then compare and contrast the various products using our multifaceted grading system.
STEP 2: SURVEYS & REVIEW “SCOUTERS” FEEDBACK
SURVEY – We survey consumers about their experiences with the various products.
QUESTIONNAIRE – We collect user feedback through a specific questionnaire directly from our Review Scouters.
PURCHASE EXPERIENCE –We gather information about the consumer’s purchase experience, whether it be on-line or in a retail store.
SHIPPING – If the product was purchased online, we gather information about the shipping experience, was there a charge for shipping, what was the quoted shipping time, how long did the package take actually to arrive, and if a tracking number was provided.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT – We surveyed the customers related to customer support experiences. Was the support team helpful, knowledgeable, and able to solve the issue promptly?
RESULTS – We surveyed consumer results and if they were in line with their expectations.
SATISFACTION – We asked about the consumer’s overall satisfaction with the entire purchase experience and product.
STEP 3: FINAL ANALYSIS
FINAL STEPS – We combined analysis from our independent research and combined it with consumer and Review Scouters experiences to determine the final product rankings.
TOP RANKINGS – Lastly, we rank the top 5 products and award our gold, silver, and bronze ratings to help our readers determine which are the best products available in the market today.
